Youth Pastor, Minister Angela Marks, will be ministering on both Friday and Saturday, with a workshop for adults and then a special session for our children and youth!

The theme, “Empowered to Influence Change,” drawn from Matthew 5:14–16, reminds us that as believers, we are not called to blend into the background, but to shine brightly as the light of the world. In a time when communities are searching for hope, direction, and truth, God has uniquely positioned each of us to make a difference—through our faith, our witness, and our daily lives.

This theme affirms that we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to influence our families, churches, and communities for Christ. As we gather, we celebrate the call to let our light shine in ways that inspire transformation, encourage growth, and reflect the love and glory of God to a world in need.

This year’s convention reminds us that every believer has influence.

God has empowered you through the Holy Spirit to make a difference wherever He has placed you. During these two exciting days, we will gather to learn, worship, grow, and encourage one another as we seek to become stronger disciples and more effective ambassadors for Jesus Christ. We are especially honored to serve under the leadership of our Presiding Bishop, Bishop Robert D. Hood, whose vision and commitment continue to strengthen ministry throughout our District Assembly.
We are also blessed with an outstanding team of anointed presenters.
Our Opening Speaker is Elder Darlene Williams Parker, whose powerful ministry will challenge and encourage us as we begin our convention together.
Our Key Workshop Presenter is Youth Pastor, Minister Angela Marks, who will provide dynamic teaching designed to equip believers for effective ministry and faithful influence in today’s changing world. Leading us into the presence of God through praise and worship will be the gifted Pastor Rashad Cobb, whose ministry will prepare our hearts to receive all that God has for us.
